Hi there! I'm Shakespeare, I love to travel, to eat and to discover new places :)
I’ve read that the prevalence of tuberculosis (and the wasting nature of the illness which could not be medically explained at the time) originally contributed to the vampire myth.

Yes! And sleep paralysis was a demon sitting on your chest. That one doesn’t surprise me. I had that experience once, when I was really stressed, and it really does feel like that.
Interesting how people interpret things. The Vampire Monks I’m really fascinated by, as they (allegedly) really existed. A group of men convinced that they had found eternal life if they drank the blood of others, and sacrificed enough animals. Twisted beyond belief. And my research was only sporadic. Might get back to that at some point.

Thank you! I was kind of going for the dreamy / haunted look. Unless you mean the vampire ones. Those I can’t really take credit for, I just played around with a template that was already there. But I’m so happy you like the pictures. They do mean a lot to me. And to see that people I like and consider friends like them, too, means a lot to me.

P.S. It’s probably my phone more than your browser. I’m going to be very polite here and refer to it merely as being slightly temperamental.

😁 I know how much you love it. Not. I’m actually getting quite fond of the name. But don’t worry, I’m still keeping this one. 😁
